Outback Trading Company Introduces Ladies’ Spring 2005 Line Horse Tack - Riding Apparel
Outback Trading Company has now introduced their spring 2005 line of outerwear
designed for comfort and performance in the saddle or on the town. With fashionable colors and tailored lines these streetchic
jackets and vests provide protection from spring’s unpredictable weather.
The premiere features of the line are jackets made of waterproof microfiber. Top sellers include the Ladies
Vagabond jacket and the Ladies Finish Line jacket. Both feature drawstring waists and snap-open rear riding gussets. The
Vagabond is also available in microsuede, which has the same waterproof protection as microfiber but with the luxurious
feel of suede. The Vagabond is cape styled over a mesh lining to allow proper ventilation through air circulation and is
offered in many of spring’s hottest colors.
The Finish Line is also weatherproof, as it is seam-sealed, and offers an extra-protection front storm panel. It
features adjustable cuffs, which make this jacket perfect for those blustery spring rides. The Finish Line’s color blocking
and contrast piping add a trendy twist to a traditional jacket.
“At Outback, we know what it’s like to have a hectic schedule—as many of us own and ride horses as well,” said
Wilson King, President of Outback Trading Company. “That’s why we strive to give our customers fashionable and
functional outerwear that they can sport while going about their everyday routines, whether that’s in the barn or about
town.”
Outback takes the guesswork out of coordinating your outfit by offering quilted vests and t-shirts that match
perfectly with their jackets. The Ladies Long Quilted vest is designed to coordinate with the microfiber Vagabond made
of the same waterproof microfiber material. It has a flattering longer length with an extended back, adjustable waist tabs
and zippered pockets.
The Ladies Short Quilted vest was created to compliment the microsuede Vagabond jacket in all the same colors.
It comes in a slightly fitted shape and features adjustable tabs to make the fit even more precise. And to top off the look,
Outback also carries a matching microsuede cowboy hat with imitation crystals decorating the hatband.
The company’s line of 100% cotton tees work great under any of their jackets or vests. They come in an array of
colors and feature horse motifs ranging from a bucking bronc to a dressage horse silhouette. Also available is their
signature tee, which features the Outback Ponies logo embroidered in matching colors.
With the protection of a windbreaker and the warmth of a fleece, Outback’s Front Range fleece and the Ladies
Foothills fleece jacket offer another option when choosing the right outerwear for the elements. The Front Range fleece
comes in either a jacket style or vest with full zip fronts and zippered pockets. They add plenty of warmth for a midweight
fleece, but without all the bulk, perfect for layering or as a stand alone piece. The Foothills Fleece jacket is shaped
with contrasting hem and cuffs and can be tossed into the washing machine after a day at the barn.
Rounding out the versatile spring collection is Outback’s newest take on their backpackable jacket. These
waterproof windbreakers are a smart choice to take with you on a ride or about town when the weather suddenly changes.
They come in the most up-to-the-minute spring colors with contrast piping and fold neatly into their own backpack when
not in use.
“Not only can our outwear shift effortlessly from the saddle to the street,” said King. “But it crosses over to the many disciplines of riding quite flawlessly as well.”
