Ariat Launches New Accessories Line

Capitalizing on the international success of its English and Western riding boots and apparel, Ariat is taking the next logical (and fashionable) step to extend its brand: launching a signature line of accessories. The Ariat Belt line, to be unveiled in August, will include Western and English styles available for men and women and made with the same quality leathers used in its footwear line. Infused with colors and other design elements from Ariat’s best-selling footwear, the belts perfectly compliment Ariat boots, or can be worn solo for the finishing touch on any outfit.

As the first manufacturer to incorporate patented performance technology into its boots, Ariat is known for innovation. And with the belt line, they’ve done it again. Every Ariat belt features the Inside Story™, a unique and inspirational quote, such as “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams – Live the life you have imagined,” found inside each belt and designed to “speak” to the customer. Also, Ariat is first to utilize the new Grip Strip™ technology in its men’s Western belts, preventing the belt from sliding side-toside and keeping the buckle centered.

A popular feature in the belt line is the signature hardware, specifically designed for Ariat, featuring buckles with unique detailing and the Ariat logo. In the Fatbaby belt line, two of the belt buckles are spiced up with the popular Fatbaby logo, one of which contains rhinestones. All of Ariat’s belts feature leather linings for maximum durability which will allow them to stand the test of time.

“We developed our new belt line in response to the overwhelming requests received by our retailers,” says Beth Cross, Ariat’s founder and chief executive officer. “Our research shows that women, and many men, are willing to invest in top-quality accessories if they are already familiar with the brand. Similarly, these customers want to achieve an authentic look with their footwear and their accessories, so we determined that a signature belt line was a natural – and strategic – extension of our successful footwear and apparel lines.”

Ariat belts will come in a wide variety of styles including a Men and Women’s Signature Collection, Men and Women’s Ornamented, Men’s Western, Women’s Western Tooled, Men’s Work/Casual, Fatbaby and English styles. Available in men and women’s sizes 26 through 38, the suggested retail price for Ariat Belt products ranges from $29.95 to $84.95.
