Andis Introduces Progress Cattle & Horse Clipper

Horse Tack - Horse Clippers

The new Andis Progress Clipper is precision engineered for clipping and fitting cattle and horses. The clipper is extremely durable, and its operation is cool and quiet. It is ideal for shows, because it’s so quiet that it doesn’t disturb even the most sensitive animals. The Progress Clipper delivers quick cuts, with a blade speed of 2200 strokes per minute. Adjustments for blade tension are fast and easy.

“There are several features in our Progress Cattle & Horse Clipper that enhance its performance,” notes Fred Koeller, Vice President of Marketing at Andis. “It includes a patented tension adjustment that is simple and quick to ensure constant clipping tension, which prolongs the life of the blade. Also, it is compact and lighter weight than comparable models, with a slim hand-grip that enhances control and alleviates hand fatigue.”

The clipper includes a thermal overload feature to prevent accidental damage to the motor. It has an overload protection switch, too. The body is constructed with a soft touch coating for clipping comfort. Its powerful magnetic motor is comparable to a 150 watt universal motor.

The Progress Cattle & Horse Clipper comes with blade set 31-15. For easy maintenance, clipper oil, a screw-driver and blade brush are included. Everything fits into a sturdy carrying case, along with an instruction manual. The clipper has a one-year limited warranty.

Andis produces a wide variety of clipper blades for horses, cattle and other livestock. These blades are produced from the highest quality hardened steel through a special grinding process that results in consistent performance excellence. The cutting edge of the blades is designed to last longer and provide exceptional durability. Andis blades can be resharpened easily to provide many years of reliable service.

Andis Company has been manufacturing handheld equipment to trim, cut, curl and dry hair since 1922. The company’s products are purchased worldwide by stylists and barbers, consumers, hotels, motels, resorts, small animal groomers and large animal groomers and shearers. To find a local distributor, call the company at 800-558-9441 or visit their Web site at www.andis.com.
