Hard on the heels of the Hampton hunt coat’s first-year success, Devon-Aire today unveiled the new fabrics and associated shirt line to be showcased at this week’s Stanley Market.
“The equestrian consumer wants the best quality at the best price, which is always a challenge!” chuckled Andres Lendoiro, vice president at Devon-Aire, and a member of the founding family, “ But,” he continued, “this is a challenge we’ve built 30+ years of success on.” Lendoiro was obviously proud of his company’s latest offering, saying, “Right off you can feel the luxurious material of these coats when you hold one in your hand, very soft and supple. Also, the cut and drape of the cloth is second to none, very flattering to a rider’s silhouette. Combined with one of our new Hampton stretch shirts you can get a custom look for a price that would make any tailor jealous.”
“But what you don’t see is just as important, maybe more so, than what you do see,” observed fellow vice-president and family member Darin deAlvarez, “Little details, like fabric that stretches and won’t bunch when the rider approaches a fence, wider arm holes for greater range of motion, and material that breathes.”
The Hampton stretch hunt coat is now available in six fabrics: brown herringbone, charcoal herringbone, olive herringbone, dark grey plaid, light grey plaid, and olive plaid, with an MSRP of $149.95. They coordinate beautifully with the new Hampton stretch shirts, available in not only traditional solids (blue, coral, lavender, pink and white) but also the trendier plaids and stripes (pink stripe, lavender stripe, blue plaid, pink plaid and lavender plaid). Hampton stretch shirts have an MSRP from $33.95 (kid’s sleeveless) to $39.95 (ladies’ long sleeve).
