Sundowner Horse Trailers Introduces the Signature Series
Sundowner - Horse Trailers
Ever heard the saying “the more things change the more they stay the same?” Once again it rings true, with Sundowner Trailers’ new Signature Series. This exciting lineup of living quarters is full of changes, and change is certainly not new to Sundowner. The company which was the first to introduce living quarters in horse trailers embraces change and challenge, which has kept them on the cutting edge of innovation in the world of horse trailers and particularly in living quarters.
To reach the Signature Series level, Sundowner first added 30,000 square feet to the manufacturing facility, and a 12,000 square foot custom hardwood cabinet shop. Recognizing the significance of firsthand experience, they searched for an individual who was more than an observer, rather a participant in the world of horses and living quarters.
Stephanie Scheid was the answer and came on board as Living Quarters Design and Development Director. She came with professional design skills and a keen eye for what not only looks good but is functional for horse owners and families. A multiple AQHA World and Congress Champion, Stephanie was key in developing the new Signature Series which debuts in the fall of 2005.
So, what’s special about the Signature Series? Attention to detail. Attention to comfort. Numerous items were added to the standard features that come with every Signature Series to ensure that every trailer has a certain level of comfort, quality and eye appeal. Furnaces, glass shower doors, skylights over the shower for improved lighting and head room, hidden screen doors, comfortable innerspring mattresses, quilted and lined bedspreads, detachable marine-style power cords, beautiful mirrored headboards, nightstands that allow the largest sleeping area possible and raised panel cabinet doors compliment the floorplans that utilize the largest showers, sinks and closets available. Keeping the same attention to comfort, function and style when selecting options, the Signature Series offers comforters that match sofa fabrics with soft suede on the reverse side; beautiful, heat-generating electric fireplaces; hammered copper sinks; radius showers with a seat; and the very best in a full array of electronics.
Scheid emphasized, “Our focus was to design an interior with the look and feel of your home, and that’s not a cliche. We took it to heart. Every aspect of the living quarters, no matter how small, was reviewed. It must be functional, practical and road-tested for life on the go. Many of Sundowner’s living quarters customers are on the road week-in and week-out and deserve a problem-free living area with minimum maintenance. They want to spend their time with the horses and family and not be concerned about their trailers.
“Our intense search for the appropriate suppliers was based on product quality and the best possible price that could be negotiated. These smart decisions, along with work-smart manufacturing in the efficient new facility, ensure the most for our customers’ dollars.
“We anticipate the reaction of the public to equal that of the Sundowner dealers when they first stepped inside the Signature Series . . . this is even more than we expected! ”
Sundowner’s Signature Series will begin arriving at Sundowner dealerships throughout the nation in October.
In the unfortunate event that a Sundowner owner does encounter a problem while on the road, having the nation’s largest dealer network ensures that help is a phone call away. The Three Year Hitch to Bumper Warranty is unique in that it covers every appliance in the interior as well as the trailer itself. The warranty is more than just a piece of paper. Service after the sale is a requirement of all Sundowner dealers and they take it very seriously. The Hitch to Bumper warranty is transferable along with Sundowner’s 8 year limited structural warranty.
