About Mountain Horse WPS - At Mountain Horse we devote enormous resources to producing products that have the right combination of waterproofness and breathability to suit various needs and situations. Windproof clothes that do not let rain in from outside but wick the body’s moisture away. This is a system we call WPS – Weather Protective System. We place huge demands on the material we use in our clothes. The materials in our WPS-labelled jackets are tested using international standard methods in a laboratory to measure waterproofness and breathability. They have also been subjected to tests for wear and tear, tear resistace and tensile strength. We continually visit our suppliers to check that our quality requirements are being met. For us, every detail is important. The demands your clothing faces will differ depending on how, where and in what weather you ride. For this reason, we have produced three levels of WPS to suit various needs and purposes.
