Discover How to Put the Pieces Together for That Perfect, Polished Round! Geoff Teall on Riding Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation

Horse Tack - News Release

Trafalgar Square Publishing is pleased to announce the publication of Geoff Teall on Riding Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation: Develop a Winning Style. Geoff Teall—noted judge, trainer, and clinician—knows that riding well is a matter of mastering the basics. In his elegant new book, he teaches the principles of quality hunt seat riding—how to perfect a winning position, both on the flat and over fences. This ideal not only helps a rider shine in the show ring, but also promotes a lifetime of riding enjoyment.

Allow Geoff to help you put together an unbeatable package, including: setting riding goals; finding the right horse and instructor; developing confidence and facing your fears; and dressing for success—in and out of the show ring. He then demystifies the jumping course. Geoff shows how even the most challenging, demanding patterns can be simplified and easily practiced at home. Discover the secrets of: walking courses; seeing distances; single jumps and straight lines; jumping from a turn; angled jumps and end jumps; combinations, in-and-outs, and more!

Whether the first step on the road to a medal, or a tool to revitalize an experienced rider’s passion for the sport, Geoff Teall on Riding Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation is the go-to guide for the modern hunt seat rider.

GEOFF TEALL is one of the leading hunter and Hunt Seat Equitation trainers in the US. Horses and riders who have trained with Geoff have gone on to win championships, medals and ribbons at major events including Devon, the AHSA (now USEF) Medal Finals, the ASPCA Maclay Finals, the Capital Challenge, the Pennsylvania National, the Washington International, the USET Talent Search, and the National Horse Show. In addition to training, Geoff is an “R” judge for both hunters and Hunt Seat Equitation. He also owns and operates Montoga, Inc., a hunter barn in West Palm Beach, Florida. Geoff is co-founder of the American Hunter Jumper Federation and currently serves as AHJF President.
