Ariat Launches Signature Handbag Line at Ohio Quarter Horse Congress

Ariat International, Inc., one of the leading manufacturers of Western boots and apparel, will officially launch their Handbag and Small leather Goods line at the All American Quarter Horse Congress, taking place September 30 – October 22, 2006 in Columbus, OH.

“We look forward to the Quarter Horse Congress each year, and want to honor the spirit of the competitors by supporting their efforts,” says Beth Cross, founder and chief executive officer of Ariat International. “The festive air of participation throughout this event, from competitors and fans alike, make this an ideal venue to officially launch Ariat’s Handbag and Small Leather Goods line.”

The new Handbag and Small Leather Goods offering from Ariat, features products made with the same high quality leathers found in their popular footwear and belt styles. The line’s small leather goods include a continental wallet, cell phone case and key ring.

The handbag collection ranges from designs that coordinate with Ariat’s Western and Fatbaby boots, as well as Ariat belts to a stylish collection of combined metallic and full grain leather styles with removable leather charms. The handbags complement any equestrian ensemble, but are also strikingly fashionable for everyday wear.

As the first manufacturer to incorporate patented performance technology into its performance footwear and apparel, Ariat is known for innovation. For its inaugural handbag collection, they have incorporated many features for today’s on-the-go lifestyle including credit card slots, interior pockets capable of handling cell phones, PDAs and cosmetics.

Ariat will have eight retailers participating at the All American Quarter Horse Congress Trade Show, with Big Dee’s Tack & Vet Supply and Rod’s Western Wear debuting the collection of Handbags and Small Leather Goods. These retailers will be giving away a free signature leather key fob with the purchase of an Ariat Handbag while supplies last.

Throughout the event, participating retailers will also be offering free Ariat signature backpacks with the purchase of any Ariat product with a retail value of $99 or more while supplies last.

Ariat handbags and small leather goods are available in an assortment of styles and colors. Prices range from $29.95 - $249.95.
