Apis - Hives, insect bites, can be used as a preventative to insect bites.
Arnica - For all forms of bruising and soft tissue damage especially when accompanied by lameness. Useful in any cases of shock associated with injury or trauma.
Belladonna - For Laminitis, bounding pulse.
Calendula - Accelerates healing. All internal and external injuries will heal faster with a few doses of Calendula. It is both a cleanser of diseased tissue and a healing remedy which accelerates recovery.
Hypericum - Nerve Damage. Injuries to nerves with severe pain. Of particular use in mares when the pelvic nerves are damaged following the delivery of a large foal. Hypericum is antiseptic and is of great value in puncture wounds where it relieves the pain and reduces infection.
Rhus Tox - Joint pain. One of the most common remedies for arthritis, the symptoms are alwys worse for rest, when the horse is noticeably uncomfortable.
Ruta Grav - Sprains and strains. A great remedy for back pain, especially the sacroiliac area, and also for repetitive strain injuries.
