SilverClene 24 Disinfectant Spray Samples Available at Press Conference on Equine Herpes Virus
Phelps Media Group, Inc. International
On Saturday, December 16, at 10 a.m., USDA Government Veterinarian, Dr. Julie Gauthier, will meet with Wellington equestrians, community members, and members of the media to discuss the Equine Rhinopneumonitis Virus. The disease, also known as Equine Herpes Virus or EHV, is a highly infectious viral disease that may be affecting the Wellington community. In an effort to help the community, EquiFit, Inc. has sent free samples of SilverClene 24, a non-toxic, powerful disinfectant spray. They will be available to everyone (while supplies last), along with a handout that explains about the product.
“The active ingredients in SilverClene24 are ionic silver and citric acid, making this a powerful disinfectant. Following strict EPA protocols, it has been tested against many different viruses, bacteria and fungi,” said Jesse Drake, director of Research and Development at EquiFit, Inc. “Specifically, it’s been shown to effectively kill many viruses, including strains of HIV, Influenza, Rhinovirus, and herpes simplex in humans. We strongly believe that it would be effective against equine strains. We hope that these samples will help equestrians in Wellington.”
SilverClene 24 kills bacteria in 30 seconds and viruses and fungi in ten minutes. It has a 24-hour active-surface kill. It is an effective deodorizer, is odorless, colorless, tasteless, non-corrosive, and non-flammable.
“SilverClene 24 is currently being used in hospitals and nursing homes all over the U.S. with great success,” they added. “We believe it can help disinfect stalls, trailers, tack and anything else the horses may come in contact with. It can even be applied directly to hands, boots and other areas that could otherwise transfer this virus.”
SilverClene 24 is available in 4-oz., 24-oz., and gallon bottles and can be purchased in single bottles or by the case. For more information or to purchase SilverClene 24, please call (800) 225-2610, ext 314 or visit www.equifit.net. Supplies will also be available for purchase at FarmVet.com’s mobile trailer on the WEF showgrounds.
The meeting with Dr. Gauthier will be held at 10 a.m. in the Jockey Club at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club on 14440 Pierson Road in Wellington, FL. The Jockey Club, also referred to as the VIP tent, is located adjacent to the large, grass Internationale Arena. This discussion forum is open to all members of the community.
