Absorbine Bug Block Easy Swipe
W. F. Young, Inc. is extending its highly successful Bug Block brand with a hot new entry into the value brand segment of the insecticide and repellent market – Bug Block Easy Swipe. Absorbine customers requested a “swipe on” product that would be easy to use in sensitive areas. Bug Block Easy Swipe was born. The 4-ounce bottles have a handy, hands-free applicator sponge top to allow extremely easy application.
Bug Block out-performs other value brands with a superior formulation containing more of the two most important active ingredients - Pyrethrins and Permethrin - essential for rapid knock-down, kill and repellency. Bug Block, in the unique and eye-catching purple bottle, kills and repels more than 70 species of pests. Not only is it effective on biting flies, gnats, ticks, and chiggers, but it works on hard-to-kill health threats such as scorpions, Black Widow spiders, cockroaches, and mosquitoes. This includes the Culex species of mosquito, which has been known to transmit the West Nile Virus. Bug Block is approved for use on horses and everywhere horses will encounter flies. It can be used in the stall and around the barn. It can also be used on dogs.
Field tests have proven that Bug Block’s effectiveness lasts for 7-14 days after the initial treatment period. It is not necessary to “repeat daily,” as is required with some insecticides. Bug Block does not contain oily petroleum distillates to irritate the skin or attract dirt and dust to the coat.
