Andis' New 4 X 4 Blade Drive Increases Clipper Blade Torque

Andis Horse Clippers

Andis has enhanced the blade drive in its rotary motor clippers with a new 4 x 4 drive for its grooming clippers. The result? Blade torque increases 25% and glides easily through thicker hair. All of the Andis detachable blade grooming clippers now have the new 4 x 4 drive.

“Our tests show that the 4 x 4 drive produces 25% more torque or rotational force to the blade. Grooming is significantly faster and easier with this new drive,” says Fred Koeller, Vice President of Marketing at Andis. “When our groomers used clippers with the new 4 x 4 blade drive, they were amazed at the performance—the new 4 x 4 blade drive clippers cut through hair they would never have even attempted with the current drive.”

The following Andis grooming clipper models now include the 4 x 4 blade drive: AG, AG2, AGC, AGC2, AGR+, AGRC, AGCL, AGP, MBG, MBG2, MBA. All of these models are made in the USA.
