Andis Introduces New Clippers With Anti-Slip Housing

Horse Tack - Horse Clippers

Andis has introduced two powerful new clippers that retain the signature shape of the Andis AG clipper, now clad in a new rubber, anti-drop housing. The purple Super 2 Speed Clipper, model AGP, runs at 4,400 strokes per minute and the green 2 Speed Clipper, model AGP, at 3,400 strokes per minute. Both rotary motor clippers are powerful and can cut through even thick, matted hair. They are equipped with the new 4 x 4 blade drive, which delivers 25% greater blade torque. Developed for professional use, the clippers have detachable blades for easy changing and cleaning and come with an UltraEdge #10 blade. The two clippers are sold separately.

“Everyone is amazed by the power of our new AGP model clippers,” says Fred Koeller, Vice President of Marketing at Andis. “With the new 4 x 4 blade drive, the clippers cut faster and more easily through even the thickest coat. The result is clipping made easier with clippers in fashionable colors to add a touch of style.”

Designed to last for years, the clippers are maintenance free and require no oil or greasing of internal parts. Both clippers have a 14’ heavy duty cord constructed so that it remains flexible in all types of weather conditions. The new clippers are made in the U.S.A. and come with a one year warranty.

The 2 Speed and Super 2 Speed AGP model clippers are compatible with all Andis UltraEdge and CeramicEdge blades, as well as most other detachable blades. They have an easy change blade drive cap and a blade lock to keep blades securely in place.

Andis manufactures the widest variety of blades in the world. Andis’ exclusive carburized hardening process adds carbon to the cutting edge and creates blades that stay sharper, longer. A special chrome finish resists rust and keeps blades at optimum performance. Andis’ CeramicEdge™ blades are designed and patented ceramic cutters that are more durable and stay up to 75% cooler than steel cutters.
