Kerrits Outerwear Gives Multi-Season Protection from Mother Nature
English Riding Apparel
When Mother Nature opens up the sky, be prepared in Kerrits Coach’s Coat or Equishell Jacket. These outerwear pieces get two thumbs up for comfort and protection from the weather, whether you’re in the saddle, working around the barn or teaching. Windproof and waterproof with sealed seams, they’re both lightweight and breathable, and can roll up to be packable, either to fit on your saddle or in your tack box.
“Our Coach’s Coat and Equishell Jacket are styled for performance in all seasons and climates—a ‘must have’ for every rider’s wardrobe,” said Kerri Kent, owner and designer for Kerrits. “We’ve tested them both extensively for functionality in every kind of condition and the final products have received rave reviews.”
Innovatively engineered, the Coach’s Coat has adjustable internal leg straps that tuck away when they’re not needed and keep the coat in place when you’re riding. It has a concealed pommel flap to keep you dry in a downpour. The back vent and gusset cover the saddle cantle and give a stylish look to the coat for everyday wear. Adjustable cuffs fit you to a tee and the reverse zippered pockets can be used as hand warmers or to keep your stuff from flying out when you’re galloping. Reflective tape keeps you visible and the detachable stowaway hood gives you ultimate convenience.
Similarly, the Equishell Jacket has all the same features, but is jacket length. It has pit zips for ventilation and breathability and a flocked horse design in soft grey on the sleeve. Magnets attach the front panels rather than Velcro so your sweater or fleece won’t snag, nor will horse hair and hay get caught.
The Coach’s Coat and Equishell Jacket are both shells that can be enjoyed in the Spring, Fall or Winter, alone or layered with other Kerrits pieces like the Quilted Horse Jacket that can be zipped in for extra warmth when needed.
