Trafalgar Square Books Releases Human to Horseman by Rick Lamb
Trafalgar Square Books is pleased to announce the publication of Human to Horseman by Rick Lamb, creator and host of the popular radio and television shows The Horse Show and The Horse Show Minute. Lamb has spent the past decade bringing horsemen and women of all ages and levels of experience the most current information available on the care, riding, and training of horses. Along the way, he’s personally tested everything he’s learned, transforming himself from a greenhorn to a well-rounded horseman. Now, he’s picked the very best of what he’s learned, and the very worst mistakes he’s made, and shared them in a soul-baring collection of personal stories and practical lessons. Includes an exclusive look at four years of the Road to the Horse colt-starting competition, starring: Clinton Anderson, Josh Lyons, Craig Cameron, Chris Cox, Martin Black, Van Hargis, Curt Pate, and Stacy Westfall.
“Human to Horseman is your new bible for the healthiest, happiest horses you could ever hope for. A must-read.” —Joe Camp, author of The Soul of a Horse, and writer, producer, and director of the Benji films
“The title for this book is perfect, and Lamb does an artful job of describing the eventful journey that has helped shape him as a person and a personality. Indeed, those of us who aspire to be called horsemen and women can identify with Lamb’s experiences, however funny, sad, painful, and educational. He’s hit all the high and low notes that go with loving and learning about horses.” —Kathy Swan, Executive Editor of NRHA Reiner
RICK LAMB’s radio show has now been on the air for over a decade and made the jump to the small screen on RFD-TV in 2006. A popular emcee for live horse events, each year Lamb appears at the popular colt-starting contest Road to the Horse. Lamb and his wife Diana live in Phoenix, Arizona. This is his third book.
