Andis Introduces The Groom Clipper For Horse And Cattle

Horse Clippers

The new Andis Groom Clipper is durable, cool, quiet and ideal for horse and cattle show groomers. So quiet that it doesn’t disturb even the most sensitive animals, the Groom Clipper delivers quick cuts, with a blade speed of 14,400 strokes per minute. Protected by an unbreakable powder coated aluminum housing, the clipper provides years of dependable service.

“One of the Andis Endurance Clippers, the Groom Clipper offers the perfect combination of power and performance,” states Fred Koeller, Vice President of Marketing at Andis. “It is an excellent choice for horse and cattle shows – perfect for both last minute shaping and extensive clipping.”

The clipper is designed to handle everything from clipping the chest and barrelarea to touch-up work around the legs and ears. The blades can be easily adjusted from 30-15-10 cutting depths, using a single lever on the side. To keep the blade in prime condition, clipper oil is included. A convenient thumb-controlled on/off switch is located on the side of the clipper.

Seven additional attachments can be added for styling flexibility. The clipper has a heavy-duty cord with a grounded plug and it comes with a one-year limited warranty.

The powder coating finish on the Groom Clipper’s aluminum housing is applied through a process that is ecologically friendly. In contrast, a by-product of traditional solvent based wet paint systems is a solvent that is considered hazardous waste and requires special handling for disposal. Using the dry finishing process for the powder coating produces an attractive, durable, high quality finish without by-products that are potentially harmful to the environment.
