Glen Taylor and Bob Brandon established Reinsman Equestrian Products in 1993. Our main objective was to build a quality product at affordable prices and most importantly provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service. We started by manufacturing quality handmade stainless steel horse bits.
In 1995 we added a line of saddle pads using the best materials available in the market. In 1998, as the business continued to grow, we decided it was time to round out the line with leather strap goods. By this time, we were manufacturing all products out of three locations in Cleveland, TN.
In the year 2000, we had reached our capacity in these locations. And so, we designed and built our new facility, which would house all operations of the production, warehouse, shipping, and main office.
In 2002, we began deliberating over starting a new line of western saddles. The first major concern was to maintain the quality that everyone had come to expect of a Reinsman product. We began looking for the experience needed to manufacture a quality product and the knowledge to move forward with new ideas. We succeeded in this by looking in the town of Yoakum, Texas. Here we found skilled and knowledgeable craftspeople who were dedicated to their craft and who took pride in their work. We knew that a good solid team would be the backbone of our success. Once you try a Reinsman product you will understand why our motto is "QUALITY HAS A STYLE ALL ITS OWN".
