U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation and Horse News are teaming up to put together Open House/Trade Fair

Horse Press Release

The U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation and Horse News are teaming up to put together the biggest Open House/Trade Fair the USET grounds have ever seen! On Sunday, June 13, the USET headquarters in Gladstone, N.J. will be teeming with activity. While the event is still in the planning stages, the program is rapidly being solidified. If you are interested in being part of this event, either by donating your time and skills or by donated a prize for the raffle, act now! The activities the USETF and Horse News are interested in (but not limited to) adding to the pro-gram are: celebrity presences and riding demonstrations interspersed throughout the day; seminars; hands-on experiments; clinics, though not free to participate in they would be free for the auditors; carriage rides; autograph signing; "staged" photo shoots, etc. In addition to being able to promote your business/talents on the USET grounds in front of (hope-fully!) thousands of people, the USETF is a nonprofit. (Therefore, your donations would be tax deductible. But, check with your accountant to verify this.) There will be a limited number of indoor vendor spots available, as well as outdoor spots, if you are interested in having a presence in the trade show area. Details and cost can be worked out after you contact us and let us know if you want to participate. The "regular" cost is $200 for an indoor "stall" if you aren't donating time or raffle prizes. Horse News will be promoting this event in the May and June issues, with the Open House/Trade Fair program guide slated for June. The May deadline is fast approaching, so if you want to be included in the promotional editorial being written up for the June Open Houses Pull-Out Guide, we would need notice of intent by tomorrow: Tuesday, April 20! June is the month of the horse in New Jersey and farms, racetracks, even a baseball stadium this year, are honoring it with special events and/or and open house.

In conjunction with the free Open House, there will be a Horse Farms Tour that will start at the USET. There is a cost of $20 per person to participate. The participants will each receive a tour guide, badge and map at the USET, to allow them to visit the farms at their leisure.
