Purina Mills and the National Cutting Horse Association Announce Partnership - (Fort Worth TX) — Purina Mills®, LLC and the National Cutting Horse Association are excited to announce a new sponsorship agreement centered around the launch of a new Premium Horse Feed, Ultium™ Competition Horse Formula.
“We’re happy to announce this new relationship with the NCHA,” said John Hamilton, Purina Mills Sr. Marketing Manager/Horse Business Group. “This partnership aligns Purina Mills, the market leader for premium researched feeds with one of the premiere equine associations. The affiliation between the two organizations is natural as we have similar target audiences.”
In order to maximize the impact on the NCHA grassroots membership, Purina Mills will initiate its new relationship with NCHA by participating in Lucchese/NCHA Weekend, June 4-6, 2004. The “Biggest Weekend Cutting” held at 25 areas across the United States and Canada. Each of the twenty-five locations will use one ton Purina Mills Premium Horse Feed as part of their awards package.
“Initiating this relationship with Purina Mills is significant for NCHA and our members,” said Jeff Hooper, NCHA Executive Director. “The addition of a premiere feed company to our select group of sponsors will be an added boost to our membership.”
The relationship encourages NCHA members to purchase Ultium Competition Horse Formula through a proposed incentive program to structure an awards bonus to both limited age and weekend events.
