The American Quarter Horse Foundation Now Has Internet Presence
The American Quarter Horse Foundation (AQHF), the heart of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), now has a presence on www.aqha.com. Featuring its programs and educational outreach efforts, www.aqha.com/foundation highlights ongoing equine research and donation information.
"As the Foundation and its programs grow, the web site will serve as the information source for those wanting to learn more about the Foundation," said Ron Marshall, Executive Director of AQHF. "We are excited about the site and hope it will offer an abundance of information on the Foundation's programs."
The Foundation segment of AQHA's web site contains information regarding current research projects, scholarships, educational programs, and AQHA's Heritage Center and Museum activities.
Through www.aqha.com/foundation, scholarship applicants can download forms and view a list of current recipients. You'll find a list of current equine research projects as well as a list of committee members. In addition, one Hall of Fame Inductee and one Heritage Center & Museum exhibit will be featured each month. Take part in the weekly online poll and learn interesting trivia about AQHA, AQHF, and American Quarter Horses.
Also posted on the Foundation web site is a current list of donors. In the near future, the Foundation web site will be able to facilitate donors who want to make a donation online.
