FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Justin Brands, Inc., a Berkshire-Hathaway (NYSE: BRKa - News) corporation, announced today it will celebrate its 125th anniversary at a private gala and celebrity rodeo on Thursday, January 22nd, 2004 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Long heralded as the "Standard of the West", Justin Boot Company® has kicked-off a national media campaign that features a traveling exhibition celebrating the company's boot-making history.

"Justin's place in America's western heritage is unrivaled," said Randy Watson, president and CEO of Justin Brands. "We want to honor the Justin legacy and our commitment to the western industry and lifestyle."

More than 2,000 guests are expected to attend the anniversary celebration, including Fort Worth dignitaries, Justin family descendants and celebrity endorsees.

The rodeo will kick-off with a congratulatory video tribute from celebrity friends such as Nolan Ryan, Governor Rick Perry, Troy Aikman and George Strait. It will be emceed by award-winning PRCA announcer, Bob Tallman, and feature such rodeo stars as Tuff Hedeman, Mark Gomes and Pete Hawkins. The evening will end with a performance by legendary Texas swing band, Asleep at the Wheel.

What birthday is complete without a gift?

Justin Boot Company® will introduce an anniversary boot that will be available in retail stores this March. The boot features the anniversary logo embroidered in red, black and white stitching, with red Texas star inlays around a white collar. It is made of black Italian Kangaroo and has the popular J-Flex comfort built into the boots. Justin will also make a version available in its signature Roper style. The boots mark the occasion by including the years of 1879 and 2004 stitched on the pull straps.
