Weatherbeeta, USA Signs on as AQHA Corporate Partner

Horse Tack Press Release

The American Quarter Horse Association has announced that it is building on its team of corporate partners with the addition of WeatherBeeta, USA. The company manufactures and owns WeatherBeeta blankets, which becomes the official horse-clothing supplier of AQHA, and Collegiate Saddles, which is now AQHA's official English saddle.

Inking an initial four-year agreement with AQHA, WeatherBeeta will co-sponsor all three World Championship shows - the American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show, the Bayer Select Championship and the AQHA World Championship Show. Collegiate also will be a presenting sponsor of the English classes in the Novice AIM Awards Program, a new program debuting in 2004.

From Coast to Coast, more riders and trainers are turning to the world's leading equestrian brand - WeatherBeeta - for protective solutions. WeatherBeeta produces cool down, insect proofing and special purpose blankets for late summer and fall, and warm, dry, comfortable blankets for winter. WeatherBeeta offers horse and rider a wide range of protective clothing and accessories, for even the most severe weather.

Collegiate saddles are supercharged with the Easy Change Gullet System and are available in close contact, Dressage and all-purpose models. The Easy Change Gullet System allows riders to change the width of the saddle to perfectly match the horse's back and withers, regardless of its size or fitness level. Collegiate is also the official English saddle of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association.

WeatherBeeta, USA is a subsidiary of WeatherBeeta, Inc., a 21-year-old company privately owned and operated by Michael Bucknell, Jim Kennard and Ron Bates. WeatherBeeta is internationally distinguished with subsidiaries in Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States.
