2005 USEA and The Chronicle of the Horse Adult Team Challenge Bid Requests
The USEA is accepting bids for the 2005 Adult Team Challenge. These popular championships are held to give the recreational adult rider an opportunity to compete as part of a team in a championship atmosphere. If you have the interest, energy, and enthusiasm to provide a special experience for the adult rider, please consider hosting one of the three championships.
The USEA Adult Rider Committee approved the boundary change to North, South, and West. The committee recognized the seasonal differences and time required for conditioning between the northern and southern areas. These boundaries are not exact. The USEA encourages all organizers who meet the following criteria to apply for consideration.
Late summer or fall date
All three phases and stabling on site
Ability to handle increased entries
Quality novice, training, and preliminary courses
The USEA will provide embroidered patches for each participant and keeper trophies for the members of each winning team. The USEA will also provide the perpetual championship trophies for display at the event. The Chronicle of the Horse provides team coolers and pictures of the winning team, as well as stabling reimbursement for all ATC participants.
Submit applications to Sharon Gallagher, USEA Director of Sport Services, no later than November 22, 2004. The USEA Adult Riders at the USEA Annual Meeting and Convention in December will review all bids.
