The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) is pleased to announce that fifteen USDF members successfully completed the USDF "L" Education Program for Judge Training in September and October. The USDF "L" Education Program is designed not only to prepare candidates for and fulfill the requirement to enter the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) "r" Judges Training Program, but also to qualify individuals to judge schooling shows. The "L" Education Program also gives competitors, trainers, and instructors greater insight into the evaluative techniques of judging dressage, and it serves as continuing education for licensed judges. The "L" Education Program is also an excellent opportunity for USDF members to learn from licensed judges how to improve their scores and view other rides from a judge's perspective, whether they plan to become licensed judges themselves or not. The "L" Education Program is conducted by a faculty of USDF-approved USEF-licensed "S" dressage judges who have experience in teaching judge-training programs.
