Horse Tack Review

Nose-it

Joanie Johnston got to realize her dream shortly after leaving the Air Force with an honorable discharge. While in the United States Air Force, she completed four degrees to include an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy, a dual Masters degree in Management and Business Administration, and a degree in Human Resource Development. On the home front, she care takes twelve horses; which includes six rescues – from miniature to massive. With so many equine-personalities and vices, Joanie needed something to make feeding less wasteful. From her years of boarding out horses and stabling at home, she observed that horses have a variety of eating habits, physiological issues, and behavior styles. Joanie wanted something to help make feed-time less wasteful and last longer. She also wanted to avoid enabling the bad habits horses can get from being fed treats by hand. After investing hundreds of dollars in broken toys and feeder options – she decided she wanted something better and needed to design it herself. And the Nose-It! was born; touted as the “best horse toy EVER.”
