Purchase: I bought this helmet at a tack shop that comes to local shows. The helmet was $375 and I got $100 off from that, because I was buying many other items. I had really wanted a GPA because of how highly regarded they are.

Likes: I really love how low it comes down in the neck. I have had it for two years and there are no scuffs even though I have dropped it twice and fallen off five.

Dislikes: It gets dirty so easily. I have tried lint rollers, tape, and water, but I can always point out where the dirt was. The chin strap seems to loosen while riding.

Quality: I think the item is very well made. It definitely isn't a helmet that falls apart very easily.

Summary: I am thinking about trying a charles owen gr8, because GPAs are so expensive. I do not feel they are worth $500 (the current price.) If you want a GPA for safety over a 6 ft. fence I would get this one, but over 2-4ft. I think one would be fine in a textanium or gr8.
