Purchase: I was shopping one day for splint boots for my gelding, I came across these boots at Quality Supply, a local tack/feed store. I do know that StateLine Tack, and Dover also sell them. I paid $27.00 for them, I think they are around $35.00 everywhere else.
Likes: I have owned these boots for a little over a year, and have ridden many different horses and haved used these on big warmbloods, and small Quarter Horses. They fit a wide range of horses. They are 10". They are so easy to fasten, just velcro, no buckles. The inside has neoprene, but instead of being smooth, it has a nice checkered texture to it, so it does not slide down the horses leg. The leather on the outside still looks new. They come in a wide variety of colors, I know for a fact they come in Black, White, navy, Royal Blue, Red, and Burgundy.
Dislikes: Like all PC boots, they tend to really attract dirt, and sand...the sand gets caught up, and you have to either pick it out, or buy a boot brush.
Quality: Even after a year of hard use on these boots, the only thing I notice is the PC logo coming off of them...everything else is still in tact, and none of the stitching or velcro needs to be replaced.
Summary: Great boot to have for flat work, but not protective enough for jumping or fast paced events and disiplines.
