Purchase: This saddle was purchased about 10 years ago for approx. $1500, I have had it since it was new.
Likes: This saddle is in amazing condition still even with regular riding of multiple horses, though I am careful of my tack and keep it clean/properly stored always. I am going to have the billets replaced this year for the first time after 10 years. The saddle was easy to break in and is well made, I bought it because it was recommended by the Spanish Riding School in Vienna and is great for developing your seat from basic dressage all the way up the levels. My saddle has a wide tree with a generous gullet and has fit every horse I have ever tried it on with the exception of my extremely uphill, high/skinny withered TB gelding. The leather is still amazing and shows a beautiful patina from use that is a sign of good leather.
Dislikes: I really love this saddle.
Quality: Very well made, everything on the saddle is symmetrical, the stitching is still intact and the leather is great. I love how it fits a variety of horses comfortable.
Summary: I highly recommend this saddle for a serious dressage rider looking for a saddle that will last a long time and provides comfort for the horse just as much as for the rider.
