Purchase: I purchased these from Horseloverz for $58 on clearance. I did need a new pair of riding boots and thought these were cool looking and easy to slip on.

Likes: The price was nice. They normally retail for close to $80 elsewhere. They had my size, which is usually taken, and they also were in a cool indigo blue color, which is a rare find. They are easy to slip on.

Dislikes: They have NO ankle support and don't seem to shock-absorb when I'm in rising trot. My feet hurt BAD and cramp up. With other boots I don't have this problem. They are not waterproof and have laces...and you have to "baby" them and can hardly do anything in them. I have very weak ankles and I can twist them easily, so this boot isn't working.

Quality: The quality is okay. Nothing to write home about (for this model of boot). I've had nothing but Ariat boots/shoes and have NEVER had anything negative to say about Ariat, BUT these are the exception. In my opinion, they are USELESS (this exact model of boot). They are not waterproof, they have no ankle support and no shock absorbing support. They take a while to get used to.

Summary: Maybe these would be okay for going places in the summer or something...they are nice looking, but are not functional for a horse person. Not recommended for people who are always on the go or riding.
