Purchase: I purchased this product straight from the manufacturer after visiting their website and seeing the video testimonials. It cost about $115 US Dollars, which is on the expensive side but as the owner of a dedicated cribber I was willing to try it. The collar worked wonderfully for about 3 weeks until the plastic snapped at the triggering mechanism, very disappointing. The company is on to something but needs to use durable materials as my horse was not hard on this collar at all and it broke in under a month. I have tried the nutcracker and miracle collars and they both left sores on my horse. After seeing the reviews on the newer Dare Collar, I have ordered that and will let you know how that works. Best of luck to all of you out there battling cribbing.

Likes: It works. A mild static shock is produced when your horse expands his throat to crib.

Dislikes: Cheap materials lead to the device breaking in under one month.

Quality: Again, great concept with poor realization due to a lack of quality materials.

Summary: My horse is not hard on anything, he doesn't even snag his fly mask, and it broke in under 1 month. I would not be able to recommend this product due to it's poor construction materials.
