Purchase: I bought this helmet from State Line Tack for around $30. I bought it because I didn't used to ride very much, and needed a helmet of my own.

Likes: I was very cheap and great for riding only a few times a year.

Dislikes: Everything from the "dial fit" to the way it makes my head look like a bobble head. I did not fit me very well and was always slipping back. I felt that if I were to fall, the helmet would cause more harm than good because it wasn't secure. Also, the straps were VERY hard to adjust because of all the little thingamabobbers they went through.

Quality: A fish bowl for your head!! Personally, I feel that it is no better than a bike helmet. A waste of money.

Summary: I have purchased an IRH Elite and I am waiting for that to come in the mail. Now that I am riding 3-5 per week, I need a little extra and especially because my horse is crazy. If you only ride a few times a year, this is a great buy, otherwise, get a much better helmet that fits your head. Someday it may save your life. Isn't YOUR life worth more than $100?
