Purchase: I bought this blanket on Ebay as a closeout for $140
Likes: This is the only blanket that I have ever owned that does not cause shoulder rubs on my horse. It does not twist and is always in place. My horse is really tough on blankets and this one does not even have a snag yet after owning it for 2 months. I love the design of the neck cover. Other blankets use elastic and hooks to attach the hood and they twist, come off or have huge gaps that let air and snow in. This hood becomes part of the blanket once it's attached, I love that feature.
Dislikes: Nothing, this blanket is perfect for my Arab.
Quality: The blanket is a 1000 denier that not only promises to be water proof. My horse stays completely dry and does not sweat under this blanket, even in our unpredictable Colorado winters. The buckles are super tough and I love how thoughtful all the velcro straps are put together. Once the hood is attached, it literally becomes part of the blanket. It does not move, has no gaps, does not twist and does not cause his mane to get rubbed.
Summary: This is the best blanket I have ever bought. I have had Weatherbeeta Taka, Schneider, Dover blankets, and a number of other brands before and none can compete with the Rambo Wug. It is really tough, does not soak up water, and it fits perfectly.
