Purchase: I bought this blanket 5 years ago from Equiteric on ebay. I paid about $75 including shipping.
Likes: I have used this blanket on several horses with different body types and it fit them all well. This blanket is easy to adjust, is constructed of well made material and washes up easily. It has a nice silky nylon lining so my horse does not get blanket rubs on his shoulders. I frequently blanket my horse in the paddock and have noticed that he will walk away from me if I have his other blanket but never with the Kodiak, so I believe he prefers it. After five years of constant use it still looks brand new.

Quality: It is a 1200D Heavyweight Turnout Blanket with 450g poly fill and nylon lining. After five years there is only a small tear on one of the inside shoulder gussets. I think it got caught on a wood splinter in the stall when I was taking it off. This blanket is well constructed. It has extras like elastic on the belly bands and all elastic leg straps.
Summary: I love this blanket it has been the best purchase. We have a small pony that I am now trying to find a Kodiak blanket for.
