Purchase: I bought my first Masta Easy Wash stable blanket at State line several years ago, for about $80. I was intrigued by the idea of a stable blanket that was easy to wash (read, you can do it yourself at the local laundromat or even in a large home washer).
Likes: My Masta Easy Wash has been the BEST blanket for my various horses I have ever purchased. It fits well, with gussets and extra padding in the right places (first consideration for a blanket). It fastens snugly and is made of very strong fabric. It has a shaped back, unlike a lot of other more expensive blankets. It is warm enough for 0 degree or colder nights in Colorado. But the real thing I love about it is that washing it is SO SO much easier than for any other type of blanket. It comes in three sections that are fastened together lengthwise with both strong zippers and velcro. I'm desperately looking for a replacement and am hoping this great product is still being made and available in multiple sizes.
Dislikes: It is getting harder and harder to find these gems.
Please, Masta, don't stop making this model of your blanket line!!!
Quality: Excellent--fabric, fit, fastenings, and the way the sections join. I've never had a problem with any of these.
Summary: This is the best blanket on the market.
