Purchase: I paid $900.00 for this saddle. It was used, but in pristine condition. I have back problems, so I needed an extra comfortable saddle. It's deep seat makes me feel very secure, and the knee blocks reinforce a correct position. I bought this saddle for my young horse, when I first bought her at age dour. She is now a happy four year-old. As a five year old, she loves this saddle, as well. It allows for great freedom of movement. Her extended trot is marvelous...especially for a horse barely 14.3 hands. My trainer said I would never get a great trot out of this little filly. She has proven her wrong. (My seat is looking pretty good, too these days!)
Likes: I like its deep seat. The saddle's side panels help you maintain a correct position.I have never felt this secure, and this comfortable on any other saddle.
Dislikes: There is NOTHING I don't like about this saddle. The only mistake I made was in not purchasing it sooner.
Quality: The saddle is made of high quality leather, and is black in color. The seat is deep and secure. The side panels are flocked well. It has not needed any repairs, even though I bought it used.
Summary: I have one thing to say: My horse scored a 69 in her first show. It was a schooling show, but I got good comments on my seat, and my horse's extended trot.
