Purchase: I bought two pairs of these from Legacy Tack (online); I paid $34.95 for each

Likes: There is a lot to like about this breech, including (a) the price, which is very reasonable, (b) the look--it has a faux fly front, faux suede knee patches, belt loops, and velcro closures at the ankle, (c) the length--I have long legs, and most schooling tights/breeches are too short, but for a "regular" size, the legs are long, and (d) it comes in a lot of different colors. Also, most pull ons have a drawstring waist, which I find useless; this has a nice elastic waistband.

Dislikes: As I said above, I bought two pairs. They appeared to be of different construction lots, as each had a differently colored elastic waistband. The pair (with the GREY-colored "TuffRider" waistband) fit much better; the other pair seems too big in the waist, and I'm constantly pulling them up. But, again, the pair with the GREY-colored waistband is perfect. Nice conforming fit, which makes me feel as though I'm "contained," without being restricted. I forgot--I'm supposed to be focusing on the negative: might be too big in the waistband, but I'm not sure you'd want to order a size smaller because then the hips/thighs might not fit. Order your regular size, but be prepared to wear a belt. The fabric--a nice, mid-weight 92% cotton and 8% lycra--has a nice stretch and weight but pills in the crotch after just one ride.

Quality: Despite the pilling, the garment is well made--I've not experienced any seams ripping or tears of any kind. Seems well made.

Summary: For a schooling breech, this is what I will consistently buy. The price is right, the fit is good, and they feel good--especially the pair with the GREY-colored waistband.
