Purchase: I received this as a Christmas present, but it was bought for me through FSS, online, for about $130. I had it on my wish list, because I was looking for a comfort-design dressage bridle (the kind with integrated/single poll pieces), without breaking the bank.

Likes: The best thing about this bridle is the comfort headpiece. The poll pieces are integrated so that the only piece resting on your horse's poll is the padded, wide part. The other piece is woven through a slit and goes over the top of the padded piece. I also love the ability to put different colored padding on the bridles. My horse is grey and I chose a dove grey (which looks grey-blue) padding, which looks very smart on him. The leather is very good quality for the price.

Dislikes: The crank noseband could fit better. It's hard to explain, but it seems too long on one side and too short on the other, so that the padded, shaped pieces don't quite fit right on my horse's jaw bone. It's not bad, it's just not quite as good as I know it could be.

Quality: For the price, you can't beat the quality of the bridle - both in materials and design. Most comfort bridles of this design are $200+ and this looks just as nice as any of them.

Summary: I really like the FSS bridle but may upgrade one day because of the way the crank fits my guy's jawline. He has a pretty thick, square jaw and jowl, but a typical refined TB bone structure elsewhere in his face. So, the bottom of his face is more of a WB size but the top is more TB sized - hard to fit!
