Purchase: I bought this helmet 6 years ago at state line tack in petsmart. It cost me $36 after tax on sale. I needed a first helmet for trail riding and lessons.

Likes: It was inexpensive and fit my head, I can be a hard fit sometimes. It stays cool in the Florida heat even though mine's black.

Dislikes: I wish it was a more slim low profile fit, it make's my head look huge. And the color could be matte instead of shiny.In the florida sunshine the glare can blind people, never a good thing while riding.

Quality: The outer shell is plastic. The inner part is styrofoam, and the harness is nylon. My particular helmet is well made and sturdy, though at 6 years old it needs to be replaced.

Summary: Overall good quality at the price. would recommend for a first helmet to a rider on a budget.
