Purchase: Purchased 2008 at Mill's Fleet Farm-both were on clearance "scratch and dent" closeout.... Paid $325 for a honey with brown seat and $359 for a heavy oil coffee colored one a week later! They had light scratches and dented conchos but all just superficial things that you won't notice after a trail ride in the woods anyways!

Likes: My daughter and I both have this saddle. She rides a 5 year old SSH who is a bit high withered and narrow and I ride a 15 year old TWH who is a bit broader with more Morgan attributes. I have it in brown/honey and she has it in heavy oil coffee. I would recommend the heavy oil coffee as she had NO break in time whereas I had squeaks and a bit of stiffness for a short while. SUPER comfy from day one-can ride forever without a sore bum! The smooth seat gives movement in gait and has just enough cush for the tush. Fits a wide range of horse shapes and sizes. Flares nicely for our gaited horses even though it has a square skirt. If you care about looks-it does have really pretty floral tooling too! To me, that's just a plus. Good quality leather, thick and heavy duty-comes oiled from manufacture and I think they are even made in the good ole USA! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SADDLE! My husband just got a beefy 11 year old TWH who is really hard to fit and this saddle even fit him!!! Don't shy away because it's sold at the fleet farm store or because it's not a high class name-I like it better than the tucker I tried!

Dislikes: Regular price is $900-1200 and that's alot to my hickville pocketbook but I'm a bargain shopper and if you can find it on sale it's more than worth it. A little on the heavy side at around 35-40 pounds. But I only throw it on and off once a day so oh well! Stirrups NOT pre-turned.....doesn't bother my 16 year old daughter but does bother me!

Quality: Like I said earlier-nice heavy leather that is preoiled-the coffee heavy oil was super nice-the other one did need a little oiling and conditioning but not alot. Thick fleece. Lots of D rings for extras. Deep pretty tooling in just the right places that don't interfere with the ride when you're out all day (I hate those ostrich seats that you can feel all the bumps or basket weave on your thighs!) I rate it right up there with Circle Y folks! And even better bcuz of the price!

Summary: Can't say enough about this saddle. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
