Purchase: I bought this as an impulse buy at a local tack shop for 15 dollars. Its the green one and I just thought it looked cool, plus my mare had just destroyed her other lead rope so I figured I might as well try this one.
Likes: This lead rope is so good, that I actually took the time to write about it. If that doesn't say something I don't know what does. Who knew something as mundane as a lead rope could make such an impression! Its unique looking and I actually get compliments on it quite a bit and people ask where I got it. Its soft, strong, doesn't get 'gross' like nylon, easy to tie with, doesn't get tangled. It's very nice, especially when paired with a conservative leather halter.
Dislikes: It's not a negative for me, but some people might want to be aware that it is shorter than most lead ropes. I like this because it's easier to manage, but if your used to a longer lead rope this one might be annoying for you. It is also very thin. It is durable, but if you have a hard to handle horse, it might not stand the test of time, I have not had a problem though.
Quality: Its beautiful, its strong, its functional. What more can I say?
Summary: This is a great lead rope that you will enjoy using around the barn. While I never would have guessed I'd have a 'favorite lead rope' I can honestly say I love this lead rope!
