Purchase: I purchased a gallon of this product at Farm King Supply and paid $32.70. I have used this product on at least 12 different horses for the past 7-8 years. I have been asked to borrow the spray when we are trail riding because the horse flies and knats and sweat bees were driving their horses nuts. Our horses were insect free and comfortable. Never once have I had a negative reaction from any of my horses to this product. Several of my friends also use this product (because they tried it from us first) and none of their horses have ever had a reaction to it. I lightly mist the horses. I have sprayed it on my hands and rubbed it over their eyes to keep them fly free for 2-3 days. They all run in a pasture. It keeps the horse flies at bay. It works. It lasts. It is oil based and can get on your clothes, etc. It washes off with a good soaping and water. All fly sprays have warning labels,this one does too. It is the best fly spray I have ever used and I have tried them all. They all make promises on how their product is the best and how it works. Some products are "fair", Gordon's Horse & Pony Spray does what it promises.
Likes: I delivers what is promised and keeps my horses insect free. It smells nice. It is long lasting. The smaller spray bottle holds up and has a quality spray mist.
Dislikes: There is nothing I don't like about this product. I have used it for almost 8 years.
Quality: I is packaged in a smaller spray bottle and in a gallon container without a spray nozzle. Both are of sturdy plastic.
Summary: Excellent fly control for horses. Has sunscreen. Oil based to moisturize skin. Takes only a very light misting and protection lasts 4-5 days.
