Purchase: I bought these boots a year ago from Greenhawk. I was looking for a nice, cheap tall boot to show and school in, and had heard good reviews about Ariats. I think I paid $200 although they retail for around $300.

Likes: These boots are very comfortable and nice quality for the price. Look great in the show ring and I like how they come in short, regular, and tall sizes.

Dislikes: I wish the tall size was a little taller, as I am 5'8 and bought a size 8 which are a bit short. The leather wrinkled in the back of the knee and side which takes away from the appearance. The leather is a little stiff and isn't very grippy and I find my leg slipping back a lot more than in my chaps. Sometimes the ankle area is stiff and hurts to put my heel down, even after a year of breaking in.

Quality: Not the best quality ever but nice for schooling.

Summary: I probably wouldn't buy them again, they are great for a low level shower or someone looking for a cheap schooling boot.
