Purchase: Bought lightly used from a tack store in Jacksonville, FL. Was about 700-800 dollars.
Likes: It's okay for light work, walk trot and canter. It's pretty sturdy.
Dislikes: Well, first of all, let's talk about the cair panels. Wool flocking normally does very well to absorb shock, but the cair is advertised as air with some foam.. And it's awful. Trying to sit a First Level trot with some extension is pure hell for both me and the horse. The panel shape is really weird too- it bridged on my mom's horse and on mine just generally fit very.. weird. The seat is also very awkward. It threw me into chair seat constantly and the cair panels made it almost bouncy. Not cool!
Quality: Normal wintec quality, pretty sturdy and easy to take care of.. Just not very skillfully crafted. Claims to have the horse and rider in mind but doesn't really seem to get it. Because they are not a dressage manufacturer, their dressage saddles just don't seem to give the support that dressage riders really need.
Summary: Okay.. For really low level dressage. I did jump in it once and it worked pretty well for that too.. Probably because it puts you in such a chair seat that your lower leg isn't going anywhere.
