Purchase: I bought this vest during the "Broken Heart Sale" on the Hobby Horse website. I paid $49 for it, which is a fraction of the usual cost of show vests.

Likes: I love the colour and design. It matched the purple slinky I bought from Hobby Horse exactly, and was a class, unique cut with the mandarin colour. The fabric was lovely, it seemed very delicate.

Dislikes: Th way the vest hung made my torso look unusually short and squat. This is especially strange for me, as I am normally accused of having short legs and a long torso. The vest didn't even reach my belt buckle.

Quality: It was nice to look at, but the zipper was cheap and the material snagged easily. It was also uncomfortably stiff and bunched up while riding.

Summary: I thought it was nice for what I paid, but I never would have paid the original $99 for this vest. Hobby Horse's clothes are only worth about half as much in general as what they charge for them.
