Purchase: From a tack swap. It was new and from a tack dealer. It only cost me $20 so I thought I'd give it a try because I wanted a breastplate to match my cheaper saddle.

Likes: The price was great. There was even the option of buying the matching bridle. It had silver on it and seemed to be well made.

Dislikes: Once it was home it was slightly too large for my 15hh horse but that could be fixed. The leather was a bit discoloured and the silver slightly dented. It would obviously nave no purpose on a horse that needed a breastplate to hold the saddle in place.

Quality: The leather was of moderate quality and the silver had already started to ?rust?. The fittings seemed fine and was a good price for the quality.

Summary: Overall the breastplate would be great for small club shows or youth events but it probably wouldn't stand up to regular use. Although the price was GREAT:)
