Purchase: I bought this from www.sstack.com for $19.95 (and and extra $7 for the name plate). I've always wanted a leather halter, and my neon coloured nylon one seems a little inappropriate for winter.

Likes: It's a nice halter. The leather, stitching, and hardware all seem to be of a decent quality. The nameplate is very nice too.

Dislikes: The dying of the leather wasn't as good as it could be. Close up it looks a little funny, though I did clean it and it does look better. The halter must have been sitting on storage for a while because there was green gunk on the buckles, like they had oxidized, but it cleaned off as well.

Quality: The quality is about like you would expect for a twenty dollar halter. It's very nice for around the barn, and even for some local shows, but I would never use it for something like an in hand class.

Summary: It's a very nice halter for the price, and if you're looking for something just a little fancier for around home, then I would recommend this halter.
