Purchase: I found this saddle on e-bay. Equus Now is the seller. I already have an all purpose wintec saddle, but, i prefer the comfort and feel of a close contact, i love Wintecs high quality leather look, with the interchangeable gullets and the cair panels. I have been shopping around for a nice close contact but did not want to spend an arm and a leg for one! So, i jumped at the great deal they were offering; saddle, saddle pad, girth, stirrup leathers, stirrups and of course the well known bright blue wintec saddle cover all for $495.00 including shipping! Yeah i know... a great deal. This saddle is pretty new from wintec, i was SOOOOO excited when it came out (my husband still does not understand how any person can get excited about a saddle....i am sure the horsey folks that read this can relate!)
Likes: Four words......"I LOVE THIS SADDLE!" It is like riding in the old crosby leather saddle i had as a kid. The comfort is unsurpassed. The color is gorgeous, it looks like leather!! You have to get up close to realize it isn't leather. It fits both my horses with just a quick change of on of the interchangeable gullet's that came with it. I know my horses like it too...it was comfortable and soft on their backs with the help of the cair pannels. I found the gullets very easy to change and cleaning is a breeze ...just light soap and water and your ready to ride!!
Dislikes: I cannot say anything bad about this saddle. I LOVE IT!!
Quality: This saddle is tough, easy to pick up and clean. Great quality for a synthetic saddle. I'll say it again..the color is absolutely gorgeous!
Summary: The wintec close contact saddle with cair has everything you want in a saddle, great quality, comfort, easy to maintain, looks beautiful, all at an affordable price...hey, what else could you ask for in a saddle!
