Purchase: I bought these from an equine retailer on ebay for roughly $18, which was cheaper than the retail price

Likes: I liked having my fingertips free while still getting a good grip on the reins. The gloves had a great sporty look.

Dislikes: Because these made from all synthetic materials and there is no mesh or venting, your hands-- and the gloves-- soon STINK to high heaven!!! Oh, my word! I swear, after a couple of wearings, my hands smelled like a boy's locker room! Ugh! It was bad enough that I was really self-conscious about it. I would always turn them inside-out after wearing to let them air out and dry, but that didn't seem to help. I ended up washing them after almost every use, and it was more trouble than it was worth.

Quality: The stitching on two of the fingers began to pull out after about 2 months of regular use. I was disappointed. They're still wearable, 4 months later, but I've had to reinforce those fingers with electrical tape to keep the seams from unravelling.

Summary: I was pretty disappointed in these overall-- great look and style, but otherwise my least favorite glove.
