Purchase: I bought this from Country Supply for about $14 to have around the barn for emergencies.

Likes: This is a well-made rasp that doesn't rust out as easily as others. It comes with a handle and the handle isn't wooden.

Dislikes: The handle really isn't small enough for women's hands, so I find it clunky and awkward to use. It is also a very heavy rasp, which is makes it hard to lift and give a good rasping on the hoof. I cannot get a good rasping out of it, due to its weight and how uncomfortable it feels in my hand (although the rubber is nice).

Quality: Rubber handle is attached to a heavy-duty farrier's rasp.

Summary: Although this rasp looks nice, it is not for the weak. I have a hard time using this due to the size of the handle as well as the length and the weight of the rasp itself. Probably better suited for men, or women stronger than I!
