Purchase: When a dear friend of mine spoke to me about DER-DAU at the World Cup Event held in Las Vegas this past April, I must admit to have said... Oh'boy here goes another boot maker. But after having my feet & legs measured with exact "custom detail" towards future comfort, my trust on Joseph Der became a well invested $1,350.

Likes: Since this is my "first" pair of truly designed custom made boots... I feel like a silly "elated" kid who just bought his first bicycle from a toy store & can't wait for any chance I can get to go riding:) I really love the structure, craftsmanship & comfort embedded on this "great" leather ensemble. My hats off to DER-DAU for making such an "Oscar Award" wonder with my feet!!

Dislikes: The fact that I can't wear them to the office with my suits... Bummer!

Quality: These boots are designed with a low heel counter, excellent for allowing the most flexibility & tapered ankle in a boot. I chose the Italian Leather upper & lining in black with alligator trim on top and punch toe.

Summary: If your looking for a Pro-Rider competition boot that's stylish and durable... custom made with Der-Dau should be next on your to do list. I really recommend them.
